With the headquarters in Mumbai and three factories across India, the company has been growing by serving several industries such as Agriculture, Leather, Rubber and tire and Steel and Explosives.
Our core activities include manufacturing, processing and exporting a multitude of chemical products such as Sulfur powder, Sulfur roll, Agricultural Sulfur Dust (85%), Sulfur (80%) WDG, Sulfur (90%) and Basic Chrome Sulfate.

Our History.
Started in 1972 as a proprietary business out of Kanpur (India), Solar Chemicals was founded by Late Mr. Prem Manohar who was an already established businessman in chemical manufacturing for more than 25 years. He was also nominated to upper house (Rajya Sabha) of the Indian Parliament in 1968 and continued to serve the nation in politics through 1980.
In 1977, his son, Mr. Paresh Kant Manglik, joined the business to handle day-to-day operations and expand the Sulfur powder business. In 1995, the company renamed to Solar Chemferts Pvt. Ltd. to further its chemical manufacturing business. In 2017, Solar Chemferts is expected to generate over 1 billion rupees (14M USD) in annual sales.
